Ryanair nose gear blows on take off at Dublin forcing divert to Stansted

An aircraft operated by Ryanair, the World’s most hated airline, suffered a blown nose gear during take-off last week at Dublin airport.

The Boeing 737-800, flight number FR1958, was departing Ireland for Nice in France when the incident occurred and it was only noticed by crew on a following aircraft departing the same runway who saw debris on the tarmac which was later confirmed as bits of the Ryanair flight’s shredded tyre.

The Ryanair crew were then informed of the tyre debris and they decided to divert to London Stansted where the aircraft landed safely.

A replacement Boeing 737-800 was arranged which resulted in a delay for passengers of around 3 and a half hours.
