Ryanair, the World’s most hated airline, today said its labour practices are in compliance with European regulations after it emerged that French prosecutors are investigating an alleged attempt to evade social contributions.
“Ryanair is fully compliant with EU labour legislation,” spokesman Stephen McNamara said in a statement.
It is alleged that the airline employed 120 workers, including 30 pilots, under Irish contracts, allowing it to avoid social contributions of as much as €4.5m.
